Health Coaching

Health Coaching is relatively new in Australia but has been very successful in New Zealand and soon to grow here.

So what is Health Coaching?

Health coaching is client centered as you are regarded the expert in your own life.  Through your own past experiences, you know what works best for you.

We will look at areas of your health that you would like to work on and together we will create goals and action plans that will work best for you.  We also look at putting processes in place so when faced with a trigger you will have the tools ready to handle the situation.

The coaching approach is more effective because it is unlike the traditional approach where a health care professional tells you what to do. In health coaching we guide you to find your own solutions.  There is no right or wrong way to go about it.  Health Coaching is a journey, trial and error can be a part of it.  We can always learn from things that didn’t go as we planned. Through the process you will not only be able to transform yourself but learn so much more about why you do the things you do.  Habits and behaviours form part of who we are.  We do it instinctly without thinking about it, so what if we looked at those areas and made some small changes?  That’s right, small changes, you don’t need to make a drastic change all at once, it is a journey, your journey and I am here is support you every step of the way.

Health coach

Danielle is a born and bred Riverlander, from Loxton.  She completed all her schooling at Loxton Primary and Loxton High School. 

Upon finishing school, she received a traineeship at a local law firm in Berri and has worked there for the past 11 years.

Danielle’s passion for health and nutrition started when she moved out of home and her love for cooking and baking began.  She completed her Diploma as a Weight Management Consultant and continued sharing her passion by posting healthy recipes on social media.  Her main aim was to show how easy healthy cooking can be.

Danielle wanted to turn her passion into a career and looked into health coaching.  This sparked her interest straight away and is now the first Health Coach in the Riverland.

In her spare time Danielle enjoys being in the kitchen creating recipes, being outdoors in nature or by the water, reading and being active by going to the gym, walking and Pilates.
